tsugumi is child born with a pair of red eyes and hair like no other, thus he was bullied by other due to his differences. he was isolated from everyone else, unable to find a place he belong and lock himself in a birdcage. that is until a letter from his 'daddy-long-leg' comes with a new path for him to take. he enrolled to a new school but to his surprise it's not the peaceful normal life he had dream of rather this school has one tradition that exceed even one's logic. his meeting with Litch embark a new begin of a cruel and sad fate. Litch has stated to help tsugumi throughout the 'games' but in the shadow he was involve in a bond unknown to other with the 'king' himself. having to see the people he cared for get hurt, tsugumi had decide to take away the throne and change the rule of the school and to his knowledge the path he takes is all an entertainment to the 'king'. tsugumi meet kain or the 'king' with the guide of Litch and the ending approach closer. the truth of Litch, kain and the strage 'accident' from the past and the recent was shown by reinhard-sensei and the truth of their bond which ties the four of them much closer and similar in a way the can never understand. the hope reinhard place upon tsugumi was much more comes as result than expected. tsugumi was the hope which unchain them all from guilty, insanity and the boundless cage. reinhard committed suicide as he bid his farewell to tsugumi that lay a sleep and in front of kain. the last letter from 'daddy-long-leg' had reach tsugumi hand afterward, it's written of how reinhard had lose everyone he loves by his own brother abel from the expactation, loved and his one woman of his life. it has uncover the death of kain and litch mother and also of his thought of tsugumi before and after he met him. the last sentences was 'i'm sorry'. tsugumi who had stand up and holding on from bullying and he who cared for other more than himself first. he who trust too much and he who forgive to easily. he was able to understand the pain of the one being hurt and he was able to open his heart. reinhard assume that tsugumi might be able to change abel if they where ever to meet as he had change. tsugumi can never be defeated by them and he was shining more that ever. he had found a place for himself and surrounded by people who accept him whole.

the story was a tragic and complicated with the spice of mystery and it gave just the right amount of excitement to me.it was worth the time reading and the art was amazing. the story had potential to go a long way to and more of the plot and twist but its okay in it's own way. the life every character had gone through and their connection though it's pretty much can be guess with all the hint but it still sometimes give out a surprise.
